Behavior Analysis Research and Computing
Meeting Time: Fridays 3:00 - 4:30pm at TSRB 222/223
(Depending on Availability)
We hope to discuss methods and questions from animal behavior research in the light of modern data analysis and pattern recognition methods. Therefore, we aim to read two papers a week, one from animal behavior research and a paper you think is related from the field of pattern recognition and probabilistic modeling. For example we find a paper describing the vocal communication of wild prairie dogs and a paper on probabilistic analysis of communication structure. Again, the two papers should be related.
